Rod Warranty
You are buying a high quality and performance rod, please note that these rods will break if not taken care of, used over the recommended specifications or abused.
While we can guarantee the quality and performance of the rod, we cannot be responsible for the well being of the rod.
If you are looking for an unbreakable rod, these rods are probably not suitable for your use.
All of our rods are either imported from manufacturers in Japan or sourced from a wholesaler in Japan, as such, warranty differs from brand to brand:
No Warranty Provided by Manufacturer - CARPENTER, DAIKO, VALLEYHILL, SHIMANO (Japan Models), FISHERMAN
1 Year Warranty – OCEAN REVOLUTION, HOTS, SMITH, ZENAQ,
1 Year Warranty - The abovementioned rods are covered against defects in workmanship and materials for a period of 1 year from the date of purchase. Sales receipt or proof of purchase required. If the rod is broken and cannot be repaired (to repair or replace is the sole discretion of Angler's Pro Shop Inc.), pay 50% of prevailing retail price (as indicated in www.anglers-proshop.com) for a new rod. If the model is no longer available, it is up to the discretion of Anglers Pro Shop to replace it with a rod of the closest comparable model available.
Should we decide to replace the damaged product, but no longer offer that model, we will replace it with what we determine to be the closest comparable model from our current product line.
In no event shall Angler's Pro Shop Inc. be held liable for incidental or consequential damages due to breach of this warranty or other warranties implied by law.
Some states do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts nor do they allow for exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; therefore, the above stipulated limitation and/or exclusion may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
If your rod is damaged or broken:
Ship the damaged rod, reel, or accessory item in a disposable container, prepaid and insured, along with a check or money order for $25 (for rods) to cover return shipping and handling for each claim in the U.S.
May 1st 2008.
All rods purchased prior to this date will still enjoy the previous warranty.
